What up! What up! What up! It’s your boy ET!! I’m tired of the people pleasing. Believe me, I used to be a people pleaser. Always afraid to ruffle feathers. I didn’t want any one angry with me. I dodged confrontation. I minimized my uniqueness to fit into someone else box. While I still was doing well as a speaker, I wasn’t truly operating in my gift. For me to fully operate in my gift, there was some people I had to confront and forgive, some habits I had to let go of, some things I had to say that wasn’t easy. I had to no longer worry about what people thought of me. When I let go and operated fully in my gift and embraced who I was, something unexpected happened.

I was sure I would destroy my career, and even worse lose family and close friends. While I lost some things, I gained so much more. I gained more than I ever thought I could by doing ME. I urge you all to stop listening to everyone’s opinion. Stop listening to everyone’s advice. Stop playing it safe. You were blessed with a specific gift. Stop minimizing yourself for the approval of others. Don’t listen to what THEY say. DO YOU and watch the world open up for you. It’s your boy ET! If it was easy everyone would do it. I believe in you. I’ll leave you with a powerful quote from Jim Carrey.

“Your need for acceptance can make you invisible in this world. Don’t let anything stand in the way of the light that shines through this form. Risk being seen in all of your glory.”
Jim Carrey
