We live in a high paced society and you are busy. I get it, but no matter how busy you are; your body needs exercise. Everyone that goes to the gym makes time. They keep their gym dates like appointments with the doctor and get it done. So, if you aren’t able to go to the gym to strength train it’s time to fit exercise into your busy schedule.

You can workout anytime and anywhere by consciously adding small amounts of strength training throughout your day and I’m going to show you how.

1. Rolling out of bed
Every morning. Every single morning tell yourself “I’m going to do 25 sit-ups, 25 push-ups, and a 60 second plank” then do it, make your bed, jump in the shower, and start your day with 2 accomplishments checked.

2. Making Breakfast and Coffee
Why not squat? While you’re in the kitchen waiting for you coffee or food to get done, go ahead and get 25 or 30 squats in.

3. Brushing your Teeth
Time to wall sit. Don’t waste your time standing over the sink while brushing your teeth. Use your time wisely and work those quads.

4. Parking your Car
Make sure your lucky enough to get the furthest spot from the entrance. This will ensure you get more steps in and if you’re really ambitious make those steps walking lunges.

5. Office Job
Ditch the office chair and get a stability ball. Stability balls are great alternatives to a boring office chair. Plus you will have so many options for workouts during your 15-minute breaks and lunchtime.

6. Watching TV
Commercial break workout! Make sure each commercial is a new exercise. For example:

1. Tricep dips
2. Squats
3. Jumping jacks
4. Push-ups
5. Sliders
6. Plank
7. Toe touches

7. Cooking Dinner
Make your countertop into your incline pushup mechanism.

8. Washing Dishes
Kick it back. Do some kick back while washing dishes.
